Broken Stone

My path of life is walking
But I am standing at a pause
Under deep thought of realizing
I am analyzing my clause

Lesser the words I speak
More often I just hear
I am standing at a peak
Searching for a near and dear

I hesitated a couple of times and cried alone
Tried finding a mirror and I lost, unknown
In a conscious attempt, I became a clone
And it didn’t take a fraction of second to be known

I am broken just like a stone
The fragmented part of mine
Is still counted as any other one
I am inherently just declined
