Tethered Existence

When somewhat fifty years will be down in the chest of your life
Standing in the balcony and observing the deep sunset
Strands of your hair whisking in crisp air
Dwindling ray of hope prevailing in your eyes
Mumbling an outlandish tune, emanating from the spirals of your treasured mind
Breathing life into memories of yesterday
When it becomes too heavy to hold and forlorn will be the state of your being
It will burst in the form raindrops falling to ground
Blending with the hues of sun rays
Like confetti plummeting from the amber sky
When those diamond blobs start to evanescence
Depicting the mirage out of your dreams
You will be able to catch upon transiting fragments of your buried remains
